the quality of the parts we manufacture.
aWe have received our certification
to ANSI/ISO/ASQ 9001-2000. When we embarked with
this program we approached it much differently than
most companies. At the time we decided to get
our certification, we did not have any customers requiring ISO certification
to do business with them. Instead, we wanted to
achieve ISO certification because we felt it was
a more efficient way to run our company. Eighty percent of all companies
getting ISO certification do so because they are forced to do
it. ..we
did it because we wanted to.
Our
quality lab has all the tools necessary to perform custom quality audits
for every shape that we manufacture. Our linier measuring machine with a
length capacity of 120” insures that
even long parts can be held to stringent quality standards. American Roll Form
utilizes measuring devices traceable to NIST (National Institute of Standards
and Technology) and all are part of a robust calibration system performed
on a regular basis. Each product manufactured receives a specific control
plan based on the products characteristics and function. The input from our
customers is extremely important to achieve the proper quality parameters
necessary to insure that the part functions properly for its use.
