Six years ago continuing with our commitment to total customer service, we installed two (2) Amada 357 PEGA machines in our facility. These machines were installed for two main reasons.

	Many of our customers were paying their fabricators to produce these parts for them and wanted us to add turret punching to our capabilities so they could buy all of their fabricated sections from one supplier. In many cases, these parts were used in conjunction with other roll formed sections that we were making for them.
	aWe purchased this equipment to enable us to run prototypes for our roll form clients to help them assess functionality of their parts. When run through our turret and press brake, we can usually simulate what the final roll formed sections will look like thus giving the customer added sense of security that his roll formed part will work in its application.

Our two (2) Amada’s can accommodate 50” wide sheets and a maximum material thickness of 1/4”.

The 45 station turrets can perform 150 strokes per minute at high tolerance levels.

Quite often when a customer initiates a new product the quantities are not suitable for roll forming because they do not justify the tooling cost. By utilizing the turret we can fabricate these low volume parts for them until the quantities increase to the point where roll forming is economical. This can save the customer thousands of dollars in tooling at the very early stages of the part’s life.
